Buy the Unisex TN34 Parka sewing pattern from Merchant & Mills. The TN34 is a relaxed and versatile interpretation of the classic fishtail parka. Lined or unlined, with a hood or ribbing, it can work for all seasons.

NOTE: The TN34 is a new version of the TN31 Parka. The pattern has been redrafted for a unisex size range and now includes the hood addition, which was previously sold separately. The TN31 pattern has been discontinued, but the TN31 Parka Hood Addition is still available here.

Suggested fabrics: Dry oilskin, oilskin (lined version only), tweed, woollens, cotton drill, cotton canvas, waterproofed cotton and linens.

For the ribbing neckline, the designer has used rib that stretches by half again. 

For the lining, the designer recommends barrier lining if you are making an oilskin version. Other lining options: brushed cotton, cotton poplin. The lining choice has to be substantial enough to accommodate buttonholes.

Sizing: XS – 3XL (approx. UK 10 – 32, based on our standardised size chart). Please also check the designer's size chart and finished garment measurements.

Notions: 2 cm (3/4") buttons, 6 for version without hood or 7 for version with hood; cord, 3.2 m (3 1/2 yd) for version without hood or 4.4 m (5 yd) for version with hood; 15 cm (6") ribbing for version without hood; 1.2 m (1 1/2 yd) interfacing (not for oilskin).
