Suggested fabrics:

View A is designed for woven fabrics with fantastic drape. For the main pant, look for rayon challis, tencel twill, or silk noil. For the knit cuff option, you will also need 1/2 yd (0.5 m) of knit fabric with Lycra or spandex content to ensure good recovery.

For View B, choose knit fabrics, such as French terry, interlock, lighter sweatshirting, or mid-weight jersey.

Fabric requirements: You may need extra fabric to account for fabric shrinkage and any directional prints or nap.

View A (woven fabrics): 45" (1.2 m) wide fabric: 3 - 4 yd (2.75 - 3.7 m) // 54" (1.4 m) wide fabric: 2.5 - 3.1 yd (2.3 - 2.8 m).

View B (knit fabrics): 58" (1.5 m) wide fabric: 2.5 - 3 yd (2.3 - 2.7 m).

Sizing: US 0 – 34 (approx. UK 6/8 – 32/34). Please also check the designer’s size chart and finished garment measurements.

The pattern is drafted for a height of 5'5". The waistband sits about 1" below the natural waist, and the hem falls to the ankle bone. Your hip measurement is key, as the waist can be adjusted to fit snugly with the elastic waistband. However, if your waist measurement is larger than your hip measurement, go with your waist measurement.

In the PDF pattern, Sizes 22 and 24 are on both pattern nests (sizes 0 - 24 and sizes 22 - 34), offering the opportunity to choose which fit will suit your body better. The sizes 22 - 34 nest has an increased amount of crotch length, through the crotch extension (and therefore also the thigh) and increased height of the back waist. This offers a more comfortable fit for a curvy figure, or more wearing ease if you prefer more back coverage.
