Buy the Sidbury Slip Dress sewing pattern from Sew Over It. The Sidbury Slip Dress is a delicate, lace-adorned slip perfect for wearing underneath your favourite me-made dresses, as a nightdress, or even as a cute summer dress!
It has a stunning appliqued lace front, with a bias-bound back neckline and underarms and lovely pleated straps. It is cut on the bias and has bust darts to help you to create your perfect fit. Get creative with the lace to create your own bespoke design, and choose from two different lengths to suit your style.

Suggested fabrics: Light to medium weight silk fabrics with lots of drape, but viscose and crepe also work.
Fabric requirements:
Sizes 6 – 20
1.15 m wide fabric: 1.9 - 2.2 m // 1.40 m wide fabric: 1.7 - 2.1 m.
Sizes 18 – 30
1.40 m wide fabric: 2.2 - 2.5 m.
Sizing: UK 6 – 20 and UK 18 – 30 (approx. UK 6 – 20 and UK 20 – 32, based on our standardised size chart). Please also check the designer’s size charts and finished garment measurements.
This pattern is split into two different blocks. The 6 – 20 size range is drafted for a B cup. The 18 – 30 size range is drafted for a D cup.
Notions: 0.5 m of non-stretch, lightweight corded lace (avoid French corded lace as this is too heavy). The designer recommends choosing lace with a scalloped edge as this will give you more motifs to choose from.
