Suggested fabrics: You can use anything from quilting cotton to flannel to pre-quilted fabric, and more. The designer's favourites are woven cottons weighing 2-5 oz/yd². Avoid making your bias binding from fabrics on the heavier side of that range, as it can make the construction quite difficult. Knit fabrics with a lot of stretch are not recommended.

Fabric requirements: Requirements are for fabric 1, fabric 2, and low loft quilt wadding/batting EACH. Or you may use pre-quilted fabric.

60" (150 cm) wide fabric: 7/8 - 1 3/4 yd (80 - 145 cm).

54" (135 cm) wide fabric (not suitable for jumbo size): 7/8 - 1 1/2 yd (80 - 125 cm).

44" (115 cm) wide fabric (not suitable for standard and jumbo sizes): 7/8 - 1 1/8 yd (80 - 100 cm).
