Suggested fabrics: Woven cotton or linen with a moderate or fluid drape weighing 3-7 oz/yd². Stiffer fabrics with a voluminous drape can be used, but they may result in a "poofier" garment. Fabrics with a lot of stretch or a loose weave like gauze are not recommended, as they can make the binding construction quite tricky.

Fabric requirements: For the tiered version. 

60" (150 cm) wide fabric: 2 1/8 - 2 7/8 yd (185 - 260 cm).

54" (135 cm) wide fabric (sizes 0-32 only): 2 3/8 - 3 1/8 yd (215 - 280 cm).

44" (115 cm) wide fabric (sizes 0-12 only): 2 3/4 - 2 7/8 yd (250 - 260 cm).

Sizing: 0 – 34 (approx. UK 6 – 36, based on our standardised size chart). Please also check the designer's size chart and finished garment measurements.

This pattern was drafted for an individual who is 5'7" (170 cm).

Notions: Optional: 1/2" (12.7 mm) extra wide double fold bias tape, if you do not want to cut your own from the pattern pieces provided.
